PEMF for Arthritis & Osteoarthritis

Arthritis is a very painful condition that occurs when one or more of our joints become inflamed and stiff. Arthritis affects approximately 46.4 million people in the USA. It includes over a hundred different conditions that affect the joints and their surrounding tissues. Although arthritis is most commonly present in adults aged 65 and older, it can affect people of all ages, including children.

The most common joint disorders are osteoarthritis and rheumatic arthritis. Common symptoms are pain, swelling, inflammation, stiffness, and difficulty when trying to move the joint. In severe cases, arthritis can interfere with everyday tasks like writing or opening a jar.

Parmeds PEMF therapy decreases pain and swelling by improving the transport of calcium to the bones, as well as increasing its absorption inside them. The cartilage quality in the affected joints improves, and pain decreases significantly.

Degenerative Osteoarthritis

We received the following X-rays from Dr. Ashfahk Ahmed in Bangalore, India. He has been treating a 65 year old woman for Tricompartmental Degenerative Osteoarthritis of both knees.

Theses X-rays were taken before starting treatment with the Parmeds PEMF system. The cartilage between the bones has disappeared almost completely in several locations. She was suffering from excruciating pain due to her condition and was hardly able to walk or sleep.

X-rays taken after 5 months of treatment with the Parmeds device clearly show that the distance between the bones has increased due to regeneration of the cartilage between the bones.

After the treatment, the patient said that she is now able to walk again, and can finally sleep well at night.

 Cartilage Regeneration in Osteoarthritis

Another patient who came in to Dr. Ahmed’s clinic suffered from pain and swelling in her knees and couldn't walk due to severe osteoarthritis of both knees. These are the X-rays of this 60 year old woman before treatment with the Parmeds system:

A lot of cartilage at several locations in both the knees has almost completely disappeared.

This next X-ray was taken after therapy with the Parmeds device for a period of 4 months with very successful results. The regeneration of new cartilage between joints can clearly be seen, and after the series of treatments she was able her to walk again.
